It reproduces very fast and is destroying the eco system and eating almost everything. In 2019 we decided, in collaboration with NAUI to create the lionfish hunter using the Hawaiian sling (spear fishing using scuba gear is not allowed in Lebanon). When we were ready to launch, situation here degraded and we also had covid-19 simultaneously. Consequently, we are stopped due to economical dramatical situation here.

If we could raise enough money, we would be able to:
- Purchase slings and containers
- Sponsor some training (this will partially help the diving instructors to survive the huge economic crisis)
- Create a side business for hunters to maybe sell the fish to restaurants or even eat it themselves and their families
- When you provide the educational materials as well as the sling and the container to the hunters, their fishing cost will be incredibly reduced
- Limit the invasion if the lionfish and consequently help our ecosystem
